Winstub Gilg

When you dirve through this charming little village and notice the Gilg, you are expecting an old world style room. Not at all, even though the building is hundreds of years old, the modern room was spectacular. Flat screen TV and jacuzzi tub. Not that you will be watching much TV, since the view out your window is much more enjoyable. The resteruant downstairs appeared to be the general dining location for the town. My wife and I were definitly recognized as out of towners. The 5 course menu offered traditional Alsatian and French cuisine. I suggest the steak/veal main course. Fantastic!

75 Euros a night, by the way. By far the best value I found in Europe.
