Considering the Hotel Relais Du Ried in Colmar?

Old Colmar by Tom_Fields
The city of Colmar is full of architectural oddities and one-of-a-kind buildings. Perhaps the most curious is the House of Heads (la Maison des tetes). This 1609 building is covered with carvings of heads, which one can see by getting up close. It's a product of the German Renaissance, now a hotel. Check out la Maison Pfister from 1537, another fine example of German architecture. Visit the old covered marketplace. Or just take a stroll. There's plenty to see here.
