    This charming four-star hotel is in a building with amazing carvings of heads (Maison des têtes = House of Heads). Very close to the Unterlinden Museum, this hotel is a perfect base for exploring Colmar and Alsace. The Maison des têtes was built in 1609; part of the hotel is in this original building. There is a beautiful interior court and a restaurant.

    Room prices begin at € 91 per night, range up to € 247 for a three-person duplex with whirlpool.

    Even though the room itself was small, the location of this hotel was great - just right at shopping streets and restaurants.
    It also has a parking a couple of meters from the entrance.
