Le Biblenhof: An abundance of flowers

Again from the Gite-de-France guide. In those pre-internet days, I bought a new big guide every other year.
Price for double room (2 persons) is € 35-45 (2007)

When we stayed there in 1993, the proprietors were Alice and Joseph Schmitt. Obviously the second generation has taken over.

Unique Quality: We turned a corner and found ourselves facing an arch behind which we saw an abundantly flowered courtyard. Le Biblenhof is an old farm with a mighty oak staircase leading up to the rooms. A modern dependance within the courtyard accommodates more (smaller) rooms. We were lucky to sleep in the wonderfully old style furnished large room (Chambre Verte, the green room) in the main house.
After drinks and relaxing in the courtyard, we had dinner in Madame's dining room.
It costs € 14-16 per person for dinner, with € 8 extra for wine (2007)
