if you arrive...
Hotel des Arts
if you arrive at the station without a bed for the night, head downstairs to the tourist office and they'll sort you out - unless it's during the Christmas Market time when finding a room is mission impossible. Anyway last time it was in November 2001 and they found me a decently priced room a stone throw from the cathedral at the Hotel des Arts.
Address: 10, place du Marché aux cochons de Lait. Ph: 03 88 379837, E-mail : info@hotel-arts.fr. General directions to get there from the station: take the circular bus line (station side) to Place du Corbeau: walk over the bridge, turn right and the hotel is at the end of the little square.
