Clean, always well-kept, and definitely not stingy on the detergent when cleaning my bathroom.
All rooms with AC. No much of view, either a busy main street or a side street with a strong lantern that lit my room at night.
Would I stay again? Yes, but I'd skip breakfast, see below.
The breakfast was a nice buffet: Croissants, butter, 4 types of jam, bread ,cheeses and hams, "danish" pastry, orange juice, yogurts and cereals, boiled eggs, bacon and sausasges. A clean dining room, small, but cosy, with a new fresh clean table cloth for every guest. Coffee/tea is brought to you at the table. A great day to start the day...until I saw the bill at check-out...24 euros, that's like 28 dollars!! Ouch!!

This hotel was recommended by a friend. I have to confess I was a bit skeptical at first: only 3 stars and way less expensive than other hotels I had the possibility to stay at (corporate rate)!
At the end, I think I've found my favorite hotel in Strasbourg!!
Its location is perfect, just in the middle of the old city, a couple of minutes walking from the cathedral. This time, I have been struggling a bit to find a parking spot (one way roads have not helped neither) but it turned out there is a guarded parking in a street close to the hotel...
The hotel itself is charming, even if the rooms have been renovated to the latest standard, we can still feel the old touch. For example, no plastic key here but an heavy traditional key you have to leave at the reception when getting out...
The staff is very friendly and helpful (at least in French)
From another review I had read, the breakfast could have been one of the weak point, I had to try it out...Its price may have been decreased in the meantime, not 24E as mentioned but just about 14E! Conclusion : the buffet was nothing exceptional but had everything you need to start the day...
Oh and I almost forgot to mention it but a great quality of this hotel compared to many others is that internet/wifi connectivity is provided *FREE* of charge!!
