    It is not possiblet to park the car in the backyard but it's allowed for downloading your stuff.
    As we had to unload our wines from the car because it was freezing this was very handy to us. Otherwise there are plenty of space on the street as from the evening and it is safe too.

    .....hmmmm, yes it is our car a black SUV MB ML320 - just great for all that wine, lol!

    The suite has a living-room connected with the bedroom with a queen-size bed, a kitchen and a beautiful big bathroom with shower including bath robes.

    You can choose your room on the net from different options. We chose - because of the dog - the mini-suite located in a separate building at the rear of the courtyard.

    It has a cute name: SORBIER DES OISEAUX which I think means freely translated "Birds' rowan-tree"!

    The hotel is easily located in the main street (right on the picture). The owners Laure et Christian ZIMMERLIN welcomed us and Petrus in their two stars auberge which felt like a four stars luxury place.

    Which dog can say having had his minced meat fried by the chef itself right in his kitchen? Petrus can,woof!!

As we had a special price for our hotel room (we stayed a week), the deal included the Christmas Eve surprise menu with specialy selected wines by our chef Christian (and owner)!

For the first time we had a "no-fuss" Christmas with a 7 courses meal and wonderful wines.

This dinner was made according to alsacian mid 19th century tradition. Three elements were represented on the Christmas Alsacian table: Earth, Water and SKY which were here the Hare (le lièvre), the Carp (la carpe)and the Goose (l'oie).
