On cherche une maison/apart/gite pas chere pendant le mois d'avril a Arcachon ou pres de Cestas. On est deux personnes et mon mari va faire un stage a INRA.
We are looking for inexpensive accomodation (house/flat etc) to rent for one month in April in Arcachon or near Cestas. We will be two adults.
The simplest thing for house rentals is the classifieds :

But you'll find more easily in Arcachon, as in Cestas the rentals are long-term.
But be careful, it's expensive and the motorway can be crowded... You'd maybe try to rent a short-term appartment in Bordeaux, like Citadines :

Place Republique is a nice square not far from the beach. If you back is to the casino you see a steet to the right direction. If you get it you will be soon on the square. unfortunately I haven't info when the monumnt was built. During you will go along the steet to the square, enjoy houses around, they are really great.
If you continue past the Dune du Pilat towards Biscarosse you'll come to some great beaches which are very popular with surgers. Due to their length you'll be able to find a stretch just for yourself. Some of the beaches have bars/restaurants and toilet/shower facilities.
Some of the beaches can be reached by the baia (no.1) bus in July/August.
