?: Youth hostel
The youth hostel is not located in the city center, as most of the time, but near the railway station. From the hostel is a good 20-30 minutes walk to the city center. Still, it is a really good deal as it is cheap, clean and a very nice place to stay. A big garden at the entrance where you can relax and talk with other people. Not at all a concrete hostel.

Camping biarritz: Good quality campsite
Book this through their site found on any search engine. Its cheap and if you stay off season you dont pay the full week price. We had a chalet with cooker fridge microwave, tiolet and shower with two bedrooms for 38 euros! you can go cheaper than that as ours was 6 berth. If you are camping then the site is clean with immaculate toilets/showers and fridges. theres a supermarket/pool/play area and its so quiet. The occasional plane about 6 a day pass overhead. To find it follows the signs for golf ibarrix
clean, so close, an additional supermarket is close by and it is ideal to explore. we loved it the owners were very friendly and we paid when we wanted too. All this for £7 a night each!!! All the chalets were new and really clean.

Belle Époque Hôtel Atalaye: A Great, Cheap Hotel
I am a big fan of having breakfast in bed, and you are able to do that here. Breakfast is an additional 6 Euro.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the coastline, but the ocean can be seen from the rooms.

Euro site: Base Camp
Staying here was a great experience, I'd never been camping for this length of time before and everyday was something new. Apart from tents, you could also rent a caravan, some were owned by people, others were owned by the site. This is definately a holiday resort for families with younger children upto the age of early teens
Excellent facilities for all the family, with evening entertainment, 2 pools, Bar, Shower Rooms, Tennis Courts, Volleyball, Netball and lots lots more !

?: In The Woods
This was the most scariest experience but I've ever had !
On the way down to Biarritz we had to stop over night and camped here, it was completely surrounded by huge, tall, thick trees, which in the dark looked like something out a horror film, which did'nt help when the other family's father decieded to scare everyone, thank goodness for the daylight !
Everything, including the breakfast area was outdoors even the showers, which struck cold first thing in the morning !
