The aparthotel faces a main road which is fairly uninspiring, but the back of the building looks out over a series of courtyards and gardens with a fountain, some grass and lots of trees and benches. A nice place to sit and relax not too far from home. On the far side of the gardens is the Centre Meriadeck, a well designed shopping precinct with clothes shops, shoe shops, sports shops, a hairdresser and a hypermarket on 3 levels. Meriadeck is at the end of one of the major tram routes around the town, but the area is still well within walking distance of most places in Bordeaux town.
