According to Google, a bus company called CITRAM AQUITAINE will take you but not every day and possibly not at a time to suit !

For details of times and routes you can look this up on:

http://horaires-transports.cg33.fr/

The distance from Bordeaux to Creon is about 24 kms.

You will of course need to get from the airport to the place from where the bus to Creon leaves, the Place Stalingrad. Buses 403 and 404 go to Creon but service is very sparse. Timetables here

http://www.cg33.fr/cg33/jcms/c_10248/timetables-and-maps-request-service-and-connection-with-the-city-transport-network

There are two suitable buses from the airport to the city - the number 1 bus (every 10 - 15 minutes) will take you to Quinconces, just around the corner from Stalingrad or the more expensive but faster JetBus (every 45 minutes)will drop you at the 'Office de Tourisme' which is also quite close to Stalingrad.

It's about 15 miles from the centre of Bordeaux to Creon, so maybe 25 miles from the airport. Sorry I cannot tell you what a taxi or private transfer might cost.

Travel Tips for Bordeaux

Hit the Streets

by black_mimi99

If you want a glimpse of art or history in Bordeaux, however, all you need to do is walk through the city’s streets. Many buildings in Vieux Bordeaux have retained their charm and character over time. If you’re looking for historical views of the city, you can walk through the Quartier Saint-Eloi.

The Grand Theater

by ceswho

Inaugurated on the 7th April 1780 with a performance of "Athalie," finest building designed by the architect Louis, stands on the site of the Gallo-Roma Tutelle Pillars, the forum in the 3rd century city. Twelve Corinthian columns support the entablature on the peristyle that is , in fact, an audacious piece of bulding for it is held by a metal tie placed inside the construction, compensating for the enormous thrusts fro the flat vaulting. This invention remained famous and is known as "Mr. Louis Nail. " Above it are the twelve statues by Berruer and Van Den Drix, representing the nine Muses, Juno, Venus and Minerva

Saint-Michel

by montxito

The Tower and crypt dating from 15th century. The tower offers a fine view of the Port de la Lune and the city from a height of 47 meters. The separate belltower of Saint Michel basilica is the second tallest in France (114 meteres high).

See the Allees de Tourny

by hquittner

The Allees is a tree lined boulevard that stretches from the Theater to the Place Tourney. It is an example of the care given to city planning long ago before traffic encroached on city life. Unfortunately we did not explore it to the Northwest end but only near the Place de la Comedie.
