Bourdeilles Accomodation

We didn't stay the night in Bourdeilles. . .in all honesty, a single morning or afternoon is all that's required for even leisurely-paced exploring. However, we did check out the restaurant (and the room rates) at this hotel, which is visible on the other side of the bridge in this photo, taken from the Bourdeilles keep.

Unique Quality: It looks like a lovely hotel. . .and the prices reinforce that. We passed on the restaurant as well due to the prices (20 Euro plates for lunch).

I suppose if you were looking for a quiet, romantic base in the region, this would be well-situated to do daytrips to chateaux and towns nearby. However, the sidewalks roll up very early in this town. :-)
