hostellerie de plaisance
I took my husband here for a birthday lunnch and had reserved a room for the night. The restaurant apparently has three michelin stars. The meal was actually underwhelming. The bill was not.
After lunch we had a little walk and then tryed to have a siesta. There was work going on immediately under our balcony, We ended up leaving the hotel because the noise was completely unacceptable.
Given that the meal cost us OVER 500 euros (20 euros a piece for a minscule amount of cheese, but served with a flourish). I think they are taking the mickey. I do not resent paying that sort of amount for a meal, but the food that was served was only memorable for it's mediocrity.
Unique Quality: Expesive, overpriced, resting on it's laurels.
