3 nights of luxury
I stayed here quite a while ago, I think early 90s. It was for 3 nights and we had a wonderful time. Good room, absolutely delightful new soaps and toiletries every day. Silly to remember that!
The room looked out onto the court yard where you can have dinner or drinks.
It's a hotel visited by many famous people from around the world. American presidents, European royalty, actors and actressess, artists, etc. It's fun to look at the photos in the corridors!
Unique Quality: 2007: standard double room € 95 in high season, € 75 in low season

Quiet and charming
It feel like you are miles away, but the Lion d`Or is right in the centre of town, in its own little courtyard
It has been a family run hotel since 1928 and many famous people have stayed there
The staff are wonderfully helpful
Unique Quality: The restraunt is superb and service is excellent
