Lovely family run B&B

This was an excellent base for our D-Day beaches tour of Normandy.

We stayed for three nights in this friendly, family run B&B.

We had originally booked into one of the smaller rooms, but found to our delight that the landlady had given us the larger rooms at no extra cost.

We had one living room a bathroom a bedroom. We were travelling on from France to Cornwall for a few extra days, so it seemed that we had loads of luggage for our stay. "One room for you and one room for your luggage", laughed the landlady.

Unique Quality: Aggarthi has an excellent central location on a quiet street. Five minutes walk from the Tapestry and Bayeux cathedral. Off road parking if you ask nicely, although the street parking is fine.

The family have many pets, which includes three small dogs, at least one cat and plenty of rabbits.

Breakfast consisted of tea or coffee, fresh croissants and home made jam. If the weather is good you can have it in the lovely garden.

We booked through www.expedia.co.uk and paid in cash on arrival.
