The distance on the rails is 239 km, the price on a regular train should be about 30 Euro.

You should go indeed to Paris St Lazare station.

Train #3343 departs 13:45, arrives 15:51
Train #3311 departs 15:10, arrives 16:57
Train #3349 departs 16:45, arrives 18:51
Train #3315 departs 17:10, arrives 18:57
Train #3351 departs 17:45, arrives 19:51
Train #3317 departs 18:10, arrives 19:57

Train #3353 departs 18:45, arrives 20:51
Train #3361 departs 19:59, arrives 22:17
Train #3323 departs 20:45, arrives 22:45

These trains are "local" (but very fast) trains. Do not use other options (TGV) because it takes longer, costs more and you will need to change trains.

(In French, but easy to work out) to find trains times, details and fares.

Paris > Caen takes around 2 hours (varies according to departure, lots of them during the day departing from Paris St Lazare), one-way fare costs 31.20 euro.

Yes, you can buy a ticket at the station.

In Caen, there are buses and taxis. Which is most appropriate for you depends on where you are going. Buses will, of course, be much cheaper than taxis.
