On asking the Cambremer Info Centre to find accommodation for us, this is the one they came up with.
With directions in hand, off we went. Easy to find? No! It was quite hard and we went round and round, until a lovely French lady told us where it was.
French B&Bs have the name on the gate and the signage if they are a member of a B&B Association like this one was.
We were welcomed by a lady who could hardly speak English, and shown our room [the yellow bedroom] at the front of the house. It was upstairs, but the only room that you could enter from the downstairs entry.
The house was 140years old, and it was fitted out in the old style, perhaps of that period. We had a huge room with a nice Bathroom, and fantastic views over the Dive valley from the window. We saw a Deer, the one and only we saw in France.
Breakfast was included in the price and served at our allotted time. It was nice, and the Jam was home-made by the lady of the house.
The garden was very nice, with table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. The house is covered with Wisteria which must be a real sight when in bloom.
Language barrier wasn't really a problem, we managed quite well.
Prices do vary with the season's, so please check out the website. We were there in mid-season.
