I won a 4-night stay in this hotel from LuxuryLink.com (a travel auction site). At the time when I checked in, I got an upgrade to a seaview room with a balcony. This hotel needs a renovation. The decor is quite dated. My room is clean and spacious though. I had lunch in their beachfront cafe and the food was quite good - gazpacho followed by seafood couscous. The front desk and the concierge are both very helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
Unique Quality: Right on the beach, close to the boardwalk and everything else. (Deauville is rather small.)

The concierge at Royal Barriere recommended this restaurant to me. It is located just a few blocks from the hotel. I had a green salad to start, and Tournedos Rossini to follow. The steak was prepared to perfection. It came with a hearty portion of french fries. Overall, I had a great time in this restaurant!
Right on the beach, close to the boardwalk and everything else. (Deauville is rather small.)
