We love to stay at B&B's just because of families like the Daniel Family who run and own the LeMoulin...we spent much of our time there, NOT touring the area, but sitting and talking with the Daniel family in their kitchen. Mrs. Daniel brought out many homemade items for us to taste and even some homemade bread... Mr. Daniel made us a gift of a bottle of wine that was bottled in the same year as our daughter Tal was born (she was 8 at the time). They took us on a tour of their farm and their son Pascal invited us to his farm also. Pascal, several years later came to visit us in our home here in Israel.
No fancy faciliites, no pool, does not overlook any cliffs, seas or monuments....you do have the "sitting area" just outside near the waterwhell, take good advantage of this to pull out a book and just relax under the shade trees.....but for sure the family is what is special here, take the time to meet them and to say hello from us here in Israel.
The B&B is a very old watermill, renovated during the last 40 years by the Daniel family who now all enjoy working specific jobs in the B&B: cook, gardener, administratior, guest greeter, etc... Situated in the attic of the mill, the rooms are all extremely clean and modern, all with very nice private bathrooms (showers). One can roam around the owners land, fruit trees, farm animals and the brook behind the establishment are all very pleasant and serene to visit with. One's served a nice breakfast in the morning, in the rustic kitchen with the company of other guests who don't hesitate talking about their adventures around Mont-Saint-Michel. *Prices mentionned are for 2 people including breakfast
On summer evenings, when it's warm and your bedroom windows are openned, you can relax... with the sound of the watermills turning right below.
