Mirabelle: Comfortable, homely self catering house

October 2009 - Returned for another 9-day stay!

We like to have plenty of space when we rent a s/c holiday property and we certainly had that in this nice old house in the old part of Grandcamp- Maisy.

The owner, who lives next door and with whom the garden is shared, is a friendly English woman who gives a great welcome and is very helpful.

With three bedrooms, generous living space and a small garden it was ideal .

It is very close to the harbour, shops, and the recently discovered Maisy Battery as well as all the Landings beaches, Bayeux and Cherbourg.

Mirabelle provided a comfortable, homely holiday base and when we left we felt we were leaving a friend's house.

Well equipped - and if you need to keep in touch with home or business free internet access is available. A place you will want to return to!
