Terrific hotel. The room was 65 euros w/o a bath and 85 w/ a bath. We opted for the bathtub, and it was very nice. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms spacious.
The rooms were decorated in a coastal, antique style. Really, it was more like staying in a bed and breakfast than in a hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Honfleur.
Unique Quality: The rooms in the back of the hotel overlook at beautiful courtyard / garden area. The lobby of the hotel has a pretty greenhouse/sun room filled with plants and flowers.
Directions: within a 5 - 8" walking distance of the harbor
Hi,
We are planning to stop by in Honfleur for a day, and may be stay there for one night on the way to St. Michel.
Can you advise places to see, restaurants and hotels there.
Thank you.
Hi,
You won't find it difficult to find interesting places in Honfleur. It's a most beautiful town! I can't tell you about hotels, but there are many restaurants, especially along the quayside. Most, if not all, places of interest are within walking distance. Enjoy your stay.
Loads of restaurants around the harbour, take your pick.
Hi there, I haven't been to Honfleur yet, but am also planning a Normandy trip for this summer. We are most likely staying at Castel Albertine. Here's the url: http://www.honfleur-hotels.com/Anglais/homepageGB.htm
If you go before August (when we're going), let me know how it turns out!
