Les Paulands: Not so expensive three star hotel in vineyards

This hotel near Beaune (a few minutes drive North) is a gem.

It is situated right on the national road, at the very edge of the 'grands crus' vineyards. They have their own cellars and wine and so you can try the wine at dinner and buy it in the morning.

I would suggest booking the more expensive rooms at 80 euros. They are quieter and with a great view. Other rooms are probably a bit noisy due to the traffic noise from the road next door.

Unique Quality: Outdoor swimming pool with loungers and tables: ideal to cool down and sip a little kir after a hard day visiting Beaune.

Fantastic restaurant (see my separate tip) with menus starting at 26 euros and outstanding food (my French stomach was in heaven).

Private car park.

Wine cellars with crus from the whole area.
