A good 4* hotel in Beaune.
Our choice of this 4* hotel was based on its position just at the edge of the centre of Beaune at only 5 minutes walking from the Hospices de Beaune and a promotional price of 127,50 €/night when staying two nights. At full price of 175 € we might hesitate.
The hotel was very easy to find on the circular boulevard at a few Km from the highway.
Furthermore there is a car parking in front of the hotel and a private garage at 10€/24 h.
The environment was pleasant and seemed safe.
Our stay was very positive. We had a renovated room on the first floor with sight on the interior garden. The room was rather large, decoration of contemporary style but no mini-bar. The TV had a large flat screen.
The bathroom was new with two wash-hand basins, bath-tub and a large separate shower; also a separate WC.
Our room was very quiet; bed was large and comfortable.
The reception personnel were very kind and attentive. Newspapers in French and English at disposal of the guests.
We did not take breakfast at the hotel, 17 € for the buffet breakfast and 20 € for a continental breakfast served in room appeared excessive to us. We preferred to have our usual croissant and coffee at a tea room in town.
We did not test the restaurant of the hotel; there is a great choice in the centre of Beaune.
