"My home town"
I was born in Le Creusot 27 years ago! (oh God already!!!!).It's a really small town but it's very cosy and there are some nice things to see and to do. Can you imagine that in such a small town (less than 30.000 inhabitants), there are two universities?I couldn't believe it myself until I got there!
And it's a towm full of history!Wait until I tell you...Queen Marie-Antoinette owned a crystal factory and that made Le Creusot very important indeed! But what made this town very strong was the Schneider family! Le Creusot had an outstanding industrial boom thanks to them. They built a massive hammer called 'Marteau Pilon' to do some big forging. Thanks to that, they were the first ones to build the first French engine! Isn't that great? ;-) Well this was the history chapter.
