Tonnerre in brief
by DSwede
It feels like many of my entries lately on France are the same. Tonnerre is a small, quaint country side town. The old buildings are plastered such that the wood beams are visible on the outside. There are small shops and boutiques along the cobblestone roads. A few random fountains with statues and of course an old church. The Eglise Saint-Pierre has some beautiful stained glass windows!
We visited Tonnerre after Tanlay, while on our way to visit the region of Chablis.

A weekend in Tonnerre...
by Kriesta
I spent the weekend in this provence. Also a great place to be. This is where i learn so much about cheese and wine and of course, those are my favourite during mealtime hehhehe....They have a lot of museum on cheese and wine, and they show us how they are made during the olden days. The places a lil rundown but it doesnt stop my spirit of going around the town. Some of people there was kinda surprised to see an asian tourist there as i think i'm the only one who are not french. The houses are like a cottage which i love very much. Big, spacy and just perfectly beautiful eventho it was build century ago....
One of the back alley behind the house. The rain are out the way and the sun is coming up .....
The host of the house that i'm staying in...soo here he is being a 'chef' cooking for 10 for dinner :D
