Town house B&B in Tournus: Bed and Breakfast

Chambre d'hôte (B&B) in Tournus (on the river Saône). A town house dating from 17th-19th century.
We paid 280 FF in 1994 for a double room with canopied bed (see photo!) and private bathroom. This amounts to € 42,70 in 2007.

Unique Quality: Tournus is a nice little country town for a day or two. Good sleeping address.
Breakfast is in an airy, quite poshly decorated French dining room.

L'ANGE COURONNE': A GREAT HOTEL IN BELLEVILLE

On September 26,2000, after a busy day of visiting Avignon and Orange, we chose Belleville, in the heart of Beaujolais district, to stay overnight. We picked L'ANGE COURONNE' because of it's great town center location.
