Brest has a large harbour to enjoy plus the Chateu de Brest over looking the harbour, which is now also home to a naval museum. A few years ago I visited the Oceanopolis, which is well worth a visit. There are 3 different tempersture zones to explore.
If the weather is kind to you, there are boat trips you can take from the harbour to the islands or just across the river. The harbour cruise qives you a nice view of the city.
Not far outside the city are lovely little places like St Thegonnec, La roche Maurice etc with wonderful old churches.
Further afield southwards there places like Carnac with its standing stones, Concarneau which has an island fortress in the harbour to explore & the wonderful cobbled old town of Auray, but I am not sure if you would have time to visit these places too.
Lucky you Toyin this is my favorite area of France! Have a wonderful trip

Travel Tips for Brest
Sailor's hope

If you wander around the harbour of Brest, you might spot this big bulky boat called Abeille Flandre. This ship is one of the most powerful tugboats in the world. With her 23.000 bhp engine, she can tow virtually anything including the very large super-tankers. When the wind reaches 25 knots, and when every sane person is only thinking of coming back into port, she goes out, ready to answer any distress call to rescue ships and crews from some of the most dangerous waters in the world. She has gone out on rescue missions 800 times since 1979 and has been instrumental in avoiding countless disasters. For more pictures and amazing videos:

Penser à prendre des affaires chaudes contre le vent et la pluie durant toute l'année. La météo change assez facilement. Pas de problèmes particuliers, tout les moyens sont à disposition sur place
The maritime town of Brest

As a tourist center, Brest has little to offer, and few relics of the past remain. Brest was rebuilt after the 2nd World War and is now the biggest town in Finistère.
Brest has a big harbour and the city grew up around it.
