Hotel & Restaurant Le Gavrinis: Great Food and Satisfacory Location!
We chose this cosy and charming Inn because it was only 5 km N. of the little port of Lamor-Baden where you get the boat for the Island of Gavrinis. It was convenient for visiting all the other sites we have described. The rooms are 3* and quite comfortable. The added dividend is the gourmet level kitchen (make sure to reserve spaces or ask for demipension). The cooking is regional but this is seafood country (demand and be ready to pay for oysters). We stayed there two nights.
Unique Quality: Shellfish for dinner and more. Since we were sightseeing and not vacationing at the shore, we looked at nothing but bed and board.

camping la grande metairie: great family camping
facilities were excellent, and the year after they added a bigger swimming pool with water slides and everything. bars, shops and even a lake and sme farmyard animals. full of families with kids, mostly brits and irish. tennis, crazy golf, volleyball.
the staff were amazing, not just the reps assigned to us. everyone really friendly. evening entertainment.
