A good restaurant too.

Very good breakfast.
On the west side of the Odet, arecently reshapped hotel.
The rooms are very clear and all is white and blue...

The site is very pleasant, and the over view on the harbour and the river is peacefull.
The crew is young and smiley, and the restaurant -called "Le bistrot"- can make very fine and cheap dishes.
It's the "cheap" hotel property of the Villa Trimen, "hotels de collection"...

An old little castle in a very quiet area near Treguier.
Rooms are all different and well decorated even if its old...
Very fine dishes done by the owner, and the mood is fine.
Very hard to find it...Use GPS and read their website.
A very nice and quiet place near Cancale, in St Coulomb.Situated in the couhtry , not so far from Cancale -5Km- its an old farm, and inside its very cosy.
Silence ...and a very good breakfast served in room...

A holiday park rather than just a campground, Mane Guernehue, not too far from Vannes has enough choice of self catering accommodation for those who choose not to take a tent or caravan.
A good family choice, the highlight of the park is the pool complex. Three very well kept outdoor pools, one with a variety of slides are very popular during summer time and if the weather is unkind then a newly opened indoor pool complete with water slide is a very welcome addition. Geared towards the active there is archery available, a woodland trail with zip slides through the trees and fishing lakes as well as the traditional Boules, popular with both young and old.
A reasonably priced bar and restaurant next to the pool provides a relaxing atmosphere during daytime and into the evening.
Excellent swimming pools, loads to do for all the family.

We are also set and ready to go to Bretagne (and Normandy) in the 2-nd part of August. We decided to stay a few days in Dinan and Quimper. This will cut the travel time for our daily trips.
It took a long time to find something looking good enough to rent and not very expensive. Not hours...but many days of internet surfing. We did not consider hotels but 'gites' or 'chambres d'hotes' for a more authentic experience.

Anne de Bretagne hotel was easy to reserve on the internet, but when we reached, the staff told us we had only paid for the booking and taxes!
They first put us on a second floor on the otherside of the main building. I have bad asthma. I realized that they could have accommodated us in a room reachable by lift. I did ask for one. They first told me the hotel was full, but eventually found a room reachable by lift. My poor sife had to fetch all our luggage on the second floor and drag them down to the lift.
The room was alright for the night. We "déambulons" through the closed cicyt and found restaurants galore, maily serving crêpes qnd pizzas/
On the whole a nice enough accommodation for the night. I could speak French, so I got what I wanted easily. But a chap who tried a phone card could not understand what the staff told him. I translated that basically the hotel telephones were too old to function with a card!
The facilities are in the enclosed city within the walls within easy distance of flocks of restaurant and near the beautiful St Vincent cathedral which is worth a visit.

This holiday park, situated in Penestin in south eastern Brittany on the Gulf of Morbihan is ideally situated. Being located in the east it is more sheltered from the winds that can affect the western part of Brittany.
The park is seperated into two parts by a road. The inland half of the park contains the mobiles and chalets. These are all modern and set in nicely kept landscaped grounds are are quieter than the campsite. The campsite is in the half of the park where the reception, shop, restaurant and bar are all situated along with the swimming pool. The campsite half of the park also has direct access to a beach which is sandy but also leaves numerous rockpools at low tide.
The facilities at this park are very impressive, even in peak season it never appeared crowded and there was plenty of room in the beautiful swimming pool and service in the bar and restaurant was quick and friendly while being reasonably priced. It was nice to sit on the terrace bar and have a drink or something to eat whilst being able to keep an eye on the children in the pool. Entertainment was low key and family orientated with plenty to keep the younger ones occupied day and night.
Boat trips could be easily arranged via reception as could cycle hire and even pony riding and there was lots of useful information at hand about the area from the multi lingual staff
Great for families. New facilities, excellent pool area. Fairly priced restaurant, bar and shop, adjoining a beach. Quiet and laid back entertainment

Q: brest airport or rennes airport to roscoff "hi, I am wondering what the simplest way is to reach Roscoff from either the Brest or Rennes airports by bus or by train. Thank..."
A: "In either case you would need bus or taxi from airport to the train station - the air port website should give details of transportation. Whichever airport you choose..."
