Manoir de Moeillian: An Old Breton Manor

It is hard to classify the makeovers of old large dwellings in France into types of accomodations. They are nearest to a cross between fancy bed and breakfasts and hotels, especially if they have dinners (even restaurants sometimes), and other facilities (pools, etc). The Manoir is 17C and its rooms are in heavy stone outbuildings (proviously stables?). The rooms are of good size and tastefully furnished and the bathrooms are large and well equipped. Breakfast is served outdoors before your room when the weather permits. In some ways it resembles a motel but the view is of the adjacent uncommercial farm countryside. Fine Breton style dinners are available in the spacious dining room of the Manor House. So good in fact that we did not consider eating elsewhere in the evening during our 3 night stay. The location was ideal for our day trip to Locronan and the Pointe du Raz and for a visit to St.-Thegonnec and the Parish Closes.

Unique Quality: This is what you come to Brittany for.
