Several: Good B&B's

There are several B&B's in this pretty town. Mostly situated in the old town and all are advertised on any web site for Moncontour. However, parking is at a premium in this place and several of them are on the narrow cobbled streets. Find out exactly where your B&B is first and also where the large communal car park is in relation to your accomodation so you can drop off your luggage and than take the car to the car park.

There is also a large hostel which does have parking.

Unique Quality: All the B&B's are in the beautiful stone or timber framed houses. All have the credited French plaque on them. Many do an evening meal on as well but there are several restaurants in Moncontour and you certainly won't go hungry. For lunch on the hoof go into the Patisserie for bread, flan and cakes or the butchers for wonderful homemade pate and rillette and the organic shop for specialist and unusual breads and biscuits.
