Camping de Port la Chaîne: Camping with the sea in reach

Camping Port la Chaîne is an agreable and well maintained campground a stone throw away from the seashore in the lush Bretagne countryside. The owners and staff are friendly and multilingual, so visitors who do not master French will be assisted in English. Pets are welcome on the campground.

Unique Quality: This tightly maintained campground has very well looked after sanitary facilities. Next to the office is a bar where meals can be taken, as well as a game area containing videogames, billiard, etc. A little further is a heated swimming pool and a small playground. In the mornings from 9 AM on bread, croissants and chocolat rolls are available at the bar. Daily entertainement is provided by the owners. The far end of the campground lies almost immediately by the shore which offers spectacular views all hours of the day (or night), either at high or at low tide. During this period of low tide one can venture about a mile into the sea onto a small island off the coast. Or scour the beach in search for small marine life caught in the puddles. Or hunt for oysters on the rocky outcrops that are covered at high tide.
