by piadelacruz

i am traveling from rennes train station to la meziere. what is the best transportation do you recommend? i know the cab will be very pricey and the bus might not let me on with a 22 kg suitcase. any suggestions?

Thank you so much for the post. It was extremely helpful. I have sent an email to the contact address you have provided, I hope I get a reply soon. Are you from La Meziere? Will it be easier if I were to take a taxi cab from the train station to La Meziere? I know it will be pretty pricey, but do you recommend a certain taxi cab company?

Travel Tips for Rennes

Entrance in silence...

Getting into a church, any church, can make you feel more peaceful... Church of Notre-Dame (Saint Melaine) is such a place, as Thabor park, which has one of the most beautiful gardens in the whole France.

Notre-Dame-en-Sainte-Mélaine

by Mikebond

This church is not important, but you will see it when you go to spend some time at the jardin du Thabor (see next tip).
Sainte-Mélaine was the church of the Benedictine abbey The only original parts that have remained until today are the transept (11th century) and the tower (14th century) because all the rest was rebuilt in the 17th century.
