A bit off the beaten track but.....
We stayed there in early Aug 2007 and enjoyed our stay there, The photos on the website do it justice, however it is about an hours drive from Rennes and the nearest towns and villages to it are pretty much nothing bar an odd bar ar rural cafe. If you want peace and quiet with total relaxation then you won't go wrong with Pen'Roc because there's nothing around it other than corn fields and farms but for us the jewel of Pen'Roc was the absolutely fabulous restaurant in the hotel. Gourmet food delivered to perfection and it costs little or nothing. The staff in the hotel were very polite and helpful. If you are not going to stay in Pen'Roc then you should definitetly consider the restaurant if you are within the area, a massive thumbs up.
