HôTEL-RESTAURANT "LE CHENE VERT": WE HAVE TO SLEEP SOMEWHERE......

LE CHENE VERT means the green oak.

They have 70 rooms ** which means everything a VT member needs in there! And the prices are reasonable (in euro of course)

This for the sportsmen: there are 3 Halles de Squash, which is great ....



Unique Quality: You can reach this attractive place by driving the RN 12 and leave this at SORTIE (=Exit)
called SAINT-LAURENT-DE-LA-MER and.....you are there....

HôTEL-RESTAURANT "LES BLEUETS": ADDRESSES PLENTY.....

This hotel restaurant is situated au bord de la mer and to be exact: front de mer....

V?ronique & Eric Gicquel sont les propri?raires and they will take care of every need you may have while staying there.

BTW BLEUETS means CORNFLOWERS.



Unique Quality: They offer you and me und cuisine gastronomique: an excellent cuisine.

Propably it is of no interest to us that they also have large rooms for business meals and family meals for larger groups....

I know by experience that it is a quiet and nice place there...
and thus I can recommend it to you....

L'ESKEMM, LE RELAIS DE SAINT-BRIEUC: AND ONE MORE.......

This Hotel-Restaurant has 43 room, fully equipped with television, a direct telephone line, bathroom/shower and toilet.

There is ample place to park your car (not in a garage)

Of course you can enjoy le petit d?jeuner which is breakfast to have a good start of the day.

This hotel is nicely situated and the building is more modern than the hotels in St.Brieusc itself of course.

Yet this hotel is only 5 minutes away from the city centre....

QUAI DES ETOILES: AND STILL MORE.....

This is THE place to spend your nights: au coeur de la ville: in the very heart of the city!

There are 40 rooms, ** which means that you won't want anything, otherwise ask...
Of course there is also satellite television in each room!

You can reach this hotel (by car) via RN 12, Sortie Saint-Brieuc centre and then direction Railway Station (Gare = railway station)



Unique Quality: The only thing to tell is that there is a private garage, which is always pleasant....

ARMORIC HôTEL **: HOTELS GALORE.....

Some 250 meters from the Railway Station and only a few steps from Saint-Brieuc' s city centre lies this nice hotel.

It is opened throughout the year....

There are 35 rooms, all with showers, toilet, television and telephone.

There also is an elevator!



Unique Quality: There is a private garage and parking area.

The hotel is surrounded by quietness and calm, and has a wonderful green patio!

HôTEL KER-IZEL: ANOTHER QUIET, SMALL HOTEL.....

This quiet hotel has only 22 rooms with everything you might need.

It is situated in the very heart of Saint-Brieuc and...very convenient...it has a private garage for your car!

Safety guaranteed!

HôTEL ** DU CHAMP DE MARS: 2 or 3 STARS, WHAT DOES IT MATTER.....

This nice looking hotel has an elevator which can be of importance.....during my holidays my suitcase and bags get fatter and fatter and thus heavier, as I myself to be true....

There are 21 rooms with shower or bath and Toilet, a colour tv set and a direct telephone line.

It is situated opposite the entrance of the parking spot CHAMPS-DE-MARS

LE SURCOUF: EACH DAY ANOTHER CAMPING.....

This camping ground, named after a pirate who once operated from Bretagne, is a fine one for camping (with a tent) and caravaning.

It is a Camping Municipal which means that it is owned and looked after by the City council which also means that they are not very expensive.

This one is opened from Easter till October, before and after that period will be too wet, too cold, too windy over there...



Unique Quality: It is situated only 500 meters from the beach and in its neighbourhood are shops to buy whatever you need.

It is a *** camping and travelling to Normandie and Bretagne 25th May 2003 for 4 weeks I shall perhaps see this camping again!!

Cross your fingers please, and wish me good luck with the weather......a tent is nothing but a thin piece of cotton.....

Pl?rin is the place where this camping is and is only a 10 minutes' drive from Saint-Brieuc.

Each Saturday evening: ball

You can play beach volley, beach sailing, sailing, kayak on the sea, surf the waves, play tennis or tennis de table, etc. etc..
