just for a passing to the beaches Ibis

    by

This is the new Ibis Budget (previously known as Etap) part of the Accor chain of wonderful French hotels worldwide. My favorite chain of hotels.

This one is for information as I live nearby but it is very well located right off the expressway N165 at Ploeren, commune of Vannes; surrounded by stores, and restos such as Quick and Buffalo Grill and local ones like Au 'tit Marmiton.

for 1 to 3 persons is ideal en route stop or a quick trip to the beaches to the south. it is ,also in the corridor Brest Nantes so a rest stop is ok.

a shower, toilet and satellite TV - all for an affordable price. Kick start your day with a delicious breakfast for a price that won't break the bank!

Opening hours France. The hotel is open 24 hours a day. Reception is open from at least 6:30am to 9:30am and 5pm to 9pm during the week, 7:30am to 10:30am and 5pm to 9pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Unique Quality: location between a major expressway and big cities, and central to the beaches to the south of Carnac and Quiberon. Good choices of eating places around it.

Directions: off N165 sortie D779 dir luscanen then on your left hand side across from Saint Maclou store.

Travel Tips for Vannes

Walled Vannes

by freya_heaven

Vannes is a picturesque walled town in the Moribhan area of Bretagne.

The old town is very Medieval with windy cobbled steets. It is a lively town, as part of the university of Rennes is here.

The wash house in the photo was used until the 1960s!
