The beach at Calvi is 6 kms of fine white sands with clear sea - and most of all it's quiet. Not in the sense that people don't go there but there isn't the constant hum a of a speed boat pulling people round on an inflatable oversized banana.
There is however the windsurfers who carry out their activity without disturbing me from my book. Now I'm not a windsurfing expert but my boyfriend has done it a few times - but he didn't try it out here. The majority of the time it was quite windy and I would say that in those conditions experts only would be able & brave enough to lift a sail.
It was good to watch though.
