The other review just about says it all. I wanted to make note that myself and my family of 4 persons (all stayed in one room), were very well treated here and really enjoyed this centuries old hotel that has been recently restored. Only drawback; no elevator. This place is very quaint , clean and they have the most unique in-suite retro-fitted bathrooms I've ever seen ( inside a self-contained modern pre-fab plastic, cocoon). It helps that they have a restaurant because Amboise has a surprising lack of restaurants for dinner (there are a couple, but not many). Overall, I agree with all said about this place.
