Right on the center/station/budget
Thought I'd find it hard to locate this in Tours, looks far from the map, in reality Hotel de L'Europe is on your right side upon exiting Tours' main station which also means that you're at the centrum. Good news too is the tourist info center where you could book all your tours at reasonable cost which is few strides from the hotel on the same lane. And everything else in Tours is walkable from the hotel. Cost Euro42 for a single room.
+ Friendly and welcoming lady reception, shiny wooden hall flooring, clean toilet/shower ensuite, clean towels, small room/big bed, flat panel TV on wall, location is excellent.
Free internet connexion in room
- Not much space to move around - it's all the same I guess with most hotels in Europe so no complaints, no window view (fire exit?), ancient door key/lock mechanism.
It's a quiet hotel or maybe because my room is not along the main road - so the window view is a blessing after all.
Would recommend it highly based on price, location, staff, and clean room.
Unique Quality: budget hotel on an excellent location.
