Cathedrale St-Gatien
by Kuznetsov_Sergey
The cathedral was under construction during several centuries. In the XVI century the western facade and two towers in height of 70 meters were completed.
The nave was constructed in the XV century. Having entered into a cathedral, the visitor moves ahead in depth of centuries. Stained-glass windows are kept in an interior.
Tour Charlemagne
by Kuznetsov_Sergey
The medieval district of the old town is well restored. Small Place Plumereau is surrounded by ensemble of fahverque houses of the XV century.
Walking through labyrinthes of narrow streets gives a really great pleasure. The fahverque house Tour Charlemagne is the most remarkable in the city centre.

An afternoon walk in Tours
by TravelerM
I spent a Sunday afternoon walking on this quiet town. The weather wasn't very nice. Occassionally there were light showers. Almost all the businesses were shut and only a couple of travelers were hanging about. The grayness with chills made me feel a bit isolated and lonely. Somehow, the bits of sorrow achoes me being a loner...
I spotted a nice car on the main road.
