This is a nice small hotel, nicely located about a 5 minute walk from the train station and about 10 minutes from the central part of the city. The second day we were there, I rented a car for a trip to Laon and later for Alsace and the AutoEurope pick up was a 5 minute walk and, while on street parking was available, I rented a locked garage storage for 10€. The staff were very friendly and helpful and served also as the staff for the small but beautiful bar and lounge. They have a nice breakfast buffet which I think involves and extra charge, but I must have gotten an inclusive rate as we had breakfast both mornings and it was apparently included in our nightly rate of 94€. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This was our first time in Reims, and in this hotel, of course. Chosen by internet because the very convenient location, a hundred meters from the railway station, in front of the famous ancient roman Porte Mars, close to the main touristic street, the hotel is a good choice if you're expecting a friendly service, a simple but comfortable facility, and the proximity to some champagne cellars.
Our most appreciated moment were when we were back to the hotel at the evening, then we went to the bar, seated on very comfortable coaches, hearing good music, and drinking a cup of golden champagne.
Rooms are larger than the french average, very well isolated from the noisy street, clean and comfortable with a large bathroom with bathtub. I recommend this hotel, a good option at a good price.
Unique Quality: Location, friendly staff, and a lovely bar with good champagne.
