I'm not a Reims local so won't bother recommending any restaurants. However, if you type Reims into the VT search window above, you will find the Reims VT Travel Page. Beside the initial photo you will find a link to members living in Reims. Click on that for a list of locals. Then click on each name in turn to check their Reims Travel Page and Tips for restaurants. I bet you'll find some excellent ideas.
Be sure to visit the cathedral. In the back are some stained glass windows by Marc Chagall. They are magnificent. I love the old stained glass but these modern windows blew me away. They almost look like they are moving. They look exactly what stained glass should look like in the 21st century. Exquisite.

The Hall
I like this photo because it looks a little bit mystic. This cathedral surprised in many ways. Do you also think so?
The light was very dim and so I had to use the tripod to get everything sharp. I choosed a smaller aperture so that shutter speed was nearly 3 seconds!

The outstanding handling of new architectural techniques in the 13th century, and the harmonious marriage of sculptural decoration with architecture, has made Notre-Dame in Reims one of the masterpieces of Gothic art. The former abbey still has its beautiful 9th-century nave, in which lie the remains of Archbishop St Rémi (440–533), who instituted the Holy Anointing of the kings of France. The former archiepiscopal palace known as the Tau Palace, which played an important role in religious ceremonies, was almost entirely rebuilt in the 17th century.
Visit the champagne maisons.
You can not really say you've visited Reims and have not tested the champagne! and what location could be better than the maisons! You can find Mumm, Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot, Pommery and many others. Just do not drink too much, ok?
