You can fly to Paris, and then take a domestic flight to Ajaccio, the Corsica's main city.

You could also take a train to marseilles and take a ferry boat, the train ride takes about 5 hours and the cruise one night. There is a train station inside Charles de Gaulle International airport, so you won't have to go to downtown Paris to catch your train.

I am not sure which would be cheaper.
If you can fly from Charles de Gaulle to Ajaccio, flying will be the shortest way in terms of time. Otherwise, you'll have to commute to the regional Airport called Orly, south of Paris, to catch your domestic flight to Ajaccio. It will take about 2 hours. Then the flight from Paris to Ajaccio will take around an hour and a half.

If you fly Air France, you can purchase your International flight (Mumbai to paris) and the domestic one (Paris to Ajaccio) at the same time. The second one will most likely be free. (I know for a fact that when you fly Air France, landing from Tokyo in Paris or Nice doesn't change the price of the ticket. I assume it is the same thing with Ajaccio).

Good luck.
