We will be in St. Florent, Ile Rousse and Calvi from June 11 to June 20. Now I wish I had planned a few weeks later due to temperature.
Is the weather generally OK for swimming in the ocean in the northern part we will be visiting early / mid June?

It should be fine, low 20s probably, water temperature goes up to 28c in the med around Corsica.
Bastia is on the east coast of Corsica at the base of the "finger".,on the map. Bastia has an airport, ferry port, and train and bus services. Ferries go to several places including Nice, Toulon and Marseille. Trains go to Corse ,Il Rousse, Calvi,and Ajaccio. Buses and Trains travel through some lovely mountain scenary. Rocks and cliffs round here have some lovely colours, but i think the picture above has been man adjusted.
