Besancon Youth hostel: Youth Hostel

This city and this hostel gets very full quick - even in late Nov offpeak season.
I was given a room - almost the last - and they are rooms to yourself - way up the top floor of their highrise building - when I got there there was no heating and it was freezing - so luckily they had their room for wheelchair users still free so I was given that, very nice and warm, with ensuite and tv so that was a good deal.
Breakfast is included, meals are available if you book by a certain time.
I got directions to a Carrefour a couple of kms up the road and drove up there - also to try to get more memory card.
Got great views over to the citadel. didnt think Id be staying another night and ended up back there but too late - got given the same room way up on the top floor again but it was okay....so book early
