Chez Bach, Chaussin: Fabulous food near Dole

I stayed at this hotel en route between the Alps and the UK. It's in the top category of Logis de France for accommodation and food. The accommodation is adequate with comfortable beds and clean facilities, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There's a safe car-park. The village is a few kms. from the motorway and from Dole. (The village is pretty uninspiring but offers a pleasant wander.

Unique Quality: The really outstanding thing about Chez Bach is the food - I had one of the best meals for about 10 years here, with an excellent, inventive variety of dishes, all delicious and beautifully presented.
