Why?

"Why Evreux?"

We didn't decide to go to Giverny until late Thursday and I had to find a hotel that was in reasonable distance to the place.

In the end I checked the usual suspencts of campanile and accor and got the Campanile as the best value for an overnight stop.

Evreux has some sights as I saw on VT, but the reason to stay there was to see Monet's garden... perhaps another time.
