HOTEL DE PARIS: Old style accommodation

As we hadn't booked any accommodation, we went to the Tourist Information centre for help to find a room.
This they did, at the Hotel De Paris, a 2* Hotel de Logis, located in a nice leafy street, practically in the middle of town.

The owner's were a nice French couple with one of them speaking the better English. We were shown the back to the Hotel so we could park the car safely in the yard. This area also contained a lawned outdoor area.
Our room was up the "STEEP" stairs, right at the very top in one of the turret's. We had a nice view to the garden and the street. The room was fairly basic, but it was clean and had everything we needed, and did include free wi-fi.
Breakfast [typical French] was included in the price, and this was taken downstairs in the lovely room in my photo.
There was a Restaurant for evening meals, we just had to let them know if we were dining in.
Our stay here was very pleasant, good for the price, and we would return.
