Road to nightmare
Driving to this hotel was like driving in the centre of London in rush hour, gps was totally useless and we had to park up and ask people how we could find the hotel, on negotiating the very narrow streets we finally found it. car park was a nightmare if you own a 4 x 4 as parking spaces are useless and do not go out and assume you willl be able to park here on your return as your told car park full you have to park elsewhere and pay 5 euros to collect our car along with half a mile walk.When soaped up in shower the water cuts out because of fire alarm going off and hotel staff would knock on your door and tell you it was your fault. Wouldnt say our stay was terrible but buy a local street map before venturing on your journey, would i stay here again im really not sure, would i reccomend it breakfast was nice room was clean, staff were polite so that could be a maybe . The picture shown was very misleading.

A room with a view
The hotel is an old building centrally located in the old part of town.
We had booked a "family" room online but when we got the hotel they advised us they do not have any rooms to accommodate a family. Whilst we had not booked direct with the hotel they resumed a responsibility towards us and put us into a suite. A large, very nice suite with fantastic views of the hickeldy, pickeldy old streets and old, traditional timber-fronted buildings. Opposite was the cathedral which, by luck was holding a late night, open air classical concert so we opened the windows and were lulled to sleep in an atmospherically apt manner.
I very much enjoyed my stay in this hotel!

Where to Stay in Rouen
Stayed for 4 nights - very clean and attractive hotel - bedroom spotless and thoroughly cleaned each day. Buffet breakfast was excellent
