The hotel is an old building centrally located in the old part of town.
We had booked a "family" room online but when we got the hotel they advised us they do not have any rooms to accommodate a family. Whilst we had not booked direct with the hotel they resumed a responsibility towards us and put us into a suite. A large, very nice suite with fantastic views of the hickeldy, pickeldy old streets and old, traditional timber-fronted buildings. Opposite was the cathedral which, by luck was holding a late night, open air classical concert so we opened the windows and were lulled to sleep in an atmospherically apt manner.
I very much enjoyed my stay in this hotel!
