The outside of the building looks more modern than the inside, which has beamed ceilings and traditionally decorated rooms. Staff we all smiles and helpful with any queries or sight seeing suggestions.
A meal in the old fashioned breakfast room was a pleasant way to start the day and also good value compared to some of the hotel breakfasts I have had!
Our room was quite large, and eclectically decorated, with its papered feature wall. The room was clean and had a TV and desk. There was also a small bathroom which was fine, except that water from the shower would splash all over the floor.
Our travelling companions single room was also good, with enough room to move around and more of that impressive wall paper!
There is no parking for the hotel, and it is almost impossible to get a spot in the surrounding streets. Best bet is to park in the Palais de Justice underground parking area, which is around a 5 minute walk to the hotel.
The cost of a double room in June 2006 was 50 euro per room per night, and a single room was 40 euro. Breakfast was an additional 6 euro per person.
